All of our coffee is specialty grade and ethically traded, with a strong emphasis on building relationships and respecting both the farms and the farmers. Each lot is meticulously evaluated for cup quality, farm practices, and sustainability.

🌿 Bali Blue Moon:                                                                                                               A unique variety from the Kintamani highlands near Mount Agung, known for its beautiful bluish hue from the wet-hulling process, Giling Basah. Grown alongside citrus trees in volcanic soil, this coffee exemplifies traditional and sustainable farming practices rooted in ancient irrigation methods.

-- Cupping Notes: Medium acidity, creamy body, rich chocolate, dark cherry, orange, sweet, and clean finish! 

 

🇲🇽 Alma de Chiapas:                                                                                                         This Fair Trade cooperative empowers 599 farmers on 1,654 hectares of land. It focuses on strengthening farmers in business and quality management while supporting the community’s growth.

🇬🇹 Huehuetenango, Guatemala:                                                                                  Sourced from 400 family-owned farms cultivating corn and beans as well, these producers partner with Unitrade Coffee to reach global markets while benefiting their communities through education and health initiatives.

🇨🇴 Cafe del Macizo, Colombia:                                                                                    Formed in 2003, this small farmer group shares its expertise to produce high-quality coffee from the lush foothills of the Cordillera Central.

🇵🇪 JUMARP, Peru:                                                                                                    Established in 2003, this Fair Trade cooperative now boasts 189 members, focusing on specialty coffee production. With active female representation, they prioritize boosting the income of member families.

🇹🇿 Tanzania - Anaerobic: Grown on the Kilimanjaro Plantation Estate, this Arabica coffee thrives in the rich, volcanic soil surrounding Mount Kilimanjaro—one of the world’s finest coffee regions. Planted with over a million trees and sustained by a precise drip irrigation system, the estate ensures optimal growth and consistent quality. A central wet mill upholds high standards while reducing water use during the fully washed process.

🇬🇹 Jorge Méndez Family, Guatemala
From Chimiche, San Pedro Necta in Huehuetenango, this direct trade lot is the result of over 40 years of perseverance. Once a child laborer on Finca El Limonar, Jorge Méndez now owns and restores the very land where his journey began, farming alongside his family using organic practices at high altitude.

Cupping Notes: Delicate acidity, apricot, clementine, milk chocolate, light-bodied with a juicy mouthfeel and floral finish.
